Black Swan Consulting is consistently at the forefront of monitoring innovations and advancements in the modern world, especially in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI). As AI continues to shape our world, we closely observe its evolving role and impact. In light of this, we took the initiative to present a proposal to the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, focusing on a crucial matter – the legal regulation of AI activities.
Yesterday, on August 16th, we had a meeting with representatives from the Ministry, dedicated to pressing issues related to AI activities. The discussions were dynamic, covering a wide range of topics including potential opportunities and threats posed by AI, as well as potential changes to existing legislation.
Special emphasis was placed on exploring collaboration opportunities between the Ministry and Black Swan Consulting. The meeting also addressed further actions in the domain of legal regulation of AI.
In particular, it was noted that stringent regulation of AI could potentially slow down and complicate the process of technology development. Therefore, the establishment of ethical standards and frameworks, along with the solutions to legal challenges, should take precedence.
The outcome of the meeting was incredibly promising. Both parties are interested in the prospect of strengthening collaboration and jointly implementing innovative projects in the field of artificial intelligence. Further plans for cooperation in this field were discussed and outlined by both parties.
